Boo fc further cemented their status as one of the top teams in Katok when they did the great escape to earn a 3-3 draw against Maestro. Dayat, Pojan and Marul were on target for the boos. Credits to Maestro as they ended a BooFC record of five matches winning streak. This match marked the boos first draw of the year.
The team in full: Pojan(C), Marul(VC), Safwat, Dayat, Afiq, Gryn, Mamad, Awi, Azeq, Syam, Kamal, Fadhli, Zazi.
The boos stated with a 4-4-2 formation. Marul and Afiq spearheaded the boos' attacks. Pojan and Fwat maintained their place in the centre of the field. Dayat played on the right wing and Kamal on the opposite side. Syam and Azeq returned to the starting line-up and was part of the backfour alongside Gryn and Mamad.
Never before have the boos started a match this badly. Boy gave maestro an early lead with a long range shot after the boos failed to close in on him. Maestro then doubled their tally through Fizi, also from a distant effort. Dayat kept the match tight as he pulled one back for the boos. As if two long ranged goals weren't enough, maestro did it again through Boy with the boos failing to learn from their past mistake as they once again gave Boy the space that he needed. By the end of the first half, the scoreline was 3-1 in favour of Maestro.
The boos made double changes for the second half, Zazi and Fadhli came in for Afiq and Mamad. Pojan must've gave the boos one hell of a team talk as the boos gave a heroic display by scoring two more goals. Pojan scored a crucial goal to give the boos hope. Marul then completed the boos comeback by scoring the boos third. They were on fire! Attacks shifted from left to right and vice versa but both teams failed to find the winner and the match ended in a well deserved draw.
