They say, the difference between possible and impossible lies in a person's determination. On 23rd November 2009, you suffered an injury that put your future in serious doubt. You were depressed and in obvious pain of the thought.. but, you stayed strong, hopeful and most importantly determined. As soon as you were able to walk freely again, you started to train at just a mere three months into your six months road to recovery. Comes the day of the physical test and you said you did okay but, the doubts remain. Months pass by and as of today, after days of praying and hard work what was once a dream has finally turned into a reality. You were chosen as one of the twelve people to study at the University of Brunei Darussalam in a physical education course and for that I congratulate you!

Congratulations Kamarul Ariffin!

I admire your strength that keeps you going during the darkest moment of your life. You set a fine example to others.

Boo FC vs Soul FC

The boos were knocked out of the K-League in the quarter final round by SoulFC, 0-3 on penalties. The scores were level at 0-0 by normal and extra time. The boos had to end the match with ten men as they lost both Marul and Syam to injuries.

Players involved: pojan, marul, gryn, safwat, syam, mamad, khairi, afiq, duan, mirul, mukri and azeq.

The boos started the match with five players in defence. Gryn, Azeq and Khairi at the centre with Mamad and Afiq at the sides. Midfield consisted of Pojan, Safwat, Mirul and Duan while Marul played the role of a lone striker. Mukri played as the goalie in the absence of Awie.

The boos were given an early scare when a back pass from Azeq put Mukri under pressure with the opposition threatening to take advantge but was cleared to safety. In an attempt to put more men forward Syam came in place of Azeq. The decision could've been a good one when a Pojan throughball found it's way past the defenders and onto Marul who was under pressure to make a pass to an unmarked Syam. Disaster struck when Marul collided with the goalie which resulted in the former being stretchered off the field. The boos continued to create but failed to break the deadlock.

BooFC soon found themselves playing with ten men as Syam suffered cramps and was unable to continue. The match went on into extra time and stayed level. A penalty shootout was essential in determining the winner. Mamad, Mirul and Khairi stepped up but failed to find the net. Mukri managed to save one penalty but it proved to be in vain as Soul FC went through to the semi-final.

Boo FC vs BMT (friendly)

BooFC is now in a run of four games without a win as they drew 1-1 with BMT. The opposition scored early on but Marul managed to grab the equaliser midway into the first half.

Players involved: pojan, marul, gryn, safwat, wiwat, najib, khairi, awie, zazi, afiq, fadli, mamad, nawi and izat

BMT's frontman pounced onto a loose ball and calmy slotted the ball past awie and into the night. The boos responded strongly and their efforts paid off as the scored the equaliser through Marul. A long distance effort from Mamad was deflected off the opposition and into Marul's path. The striker made no mistake and did his trademark finish to put the boos level by halftime.

The boos had the first chance to score the winner in the second half when Marul dribbled past his marker just to put his shot over the bar. Awie kept the game level by pulling off a wonder save to deny BMT the lead. Pojan came closest to scoring the winner when a cross from the left evaded the entire opposition's defence leaving the captain with the simple task of a mere tap-in but he failed to make proper contact with the ball as it went wide of the goal.

Boo FC vs TMC (friendly)

Boo FC vs SMSO (friendly)

Boo FC scored twice in the dying minutes to rob SMSO of a victory after they led 4-2.
Pojan scored twice with Fizul and Wiwat scoring in between. Another display of the boos fighting spirit. The final score was 4-4.

Boofc started the match with a 4-5-1 formation. Awi, Syam, Gryn, Najib, Mamad, Kamal, Fizul, Pojan, Wiwat, Zazi, Marul. Subs: Afiq, Mirul, Fwat.

SMSO were awarded a free-kick after Najib was fouled for a handball. The kick was well taken as the ball sailed into goal. The boos replied with waves of attacks but was constantly denied by the goalie. SMSO then doubled their lead through the same player. He dribbled past our defenders to drive in an unstoppable goal. They were denied a clean sheet as Pojan reduced the deficit to 2-1.

Boofc made three changes for the second half. Syam, Kamal and Mamad came off for Afiq, Safwat and Mirul. The boos started the second half in a way similar to the first, by conceding a goal. A long punt upfield was misjudged by Awi and the ball went straight into the net. The boos gave a swift reply through Fizul, who once again with a solo effort. Safwat sent a fierce shot on goal but the keeper was at full stretch to put his effort to waste. It was soon 4-2 in favour of SMSO. Najib scored an own goal after a miscommunication with Awi. A second consecutive loss looked inevitable but the boss bounced back with two late goals. Wiwat did a flick to put the ball past the line. Pojan then grabbed the equaliser soon after. Najib looked to redeem himself as he came closest to scoring the winner for the boos.

Boo FC vs AM Gunners [friendly]

A dissapointing loss to the hands of AM Gunners ended the boos record breaking unbeaten run of eight games. The boos were under pressure for most of the first half as they were beaten 4-1 but dominated the second half as the roles were reversed and nearly did the great escape as the match ended 4-3. Pojan, Fizul and Marul were the scorers.

The team in full: Pojan, Marul, Gryn, Fwat, Syam, Mamad, Fadli, Mahmud, Mirul, Wajdy, Awie, Fizul, Najib, Kamal, Afiq, Zazi, Azeq.

The boos played with the usual 4-5-1 formation. Marul played as the targetman while Mirul and Mahmud played on the left and right wings respectively. Pojan and Safwat played in the centre with Fadli as the defensive support. Syam and Wajdi joined Gryn and Mamad in defence. Awie was in goal.

Boofc was given an early scare when a cross from the right evaded Awie and was met by a bad touch but not bad enough as to miss the goal. Fortunately, it was put out for a corner by Syam. Gunners soon open the deadlock after a neat passing play between Awit and TM. TM took a shot on goal. Awie saved it but failed to handle the ball as the rebound was fired into the net. It was soon 2 goals down for the boos. The ball was blocked by Syam and was deflected onto the path of TM who managed to squeeze the ball between Awie and his left hand post. Boo fc replied with a subtle goal through Pojan. Safwat took a shot that was blocked by the goalie but Pojan reacted quickly and kicked the ball through the keeper's legs and into the net. Gunners then regained their their two goals cushion. Awit did a great turn over Gryn and placed the ball out of Awie's reach. TM onced again doubled their advantage after Azeq lost possession. Najib just failed to clear the ball and TM used this to his advantage. After 45 exhausting minutes, the boos were 4-1 down. It could've been better for the boos though as a Mirul effort bounced of the post and when Mahmud failed to control the ball as it went harmlessly over the bar. Not to mention a well taken freekick from Fadli that was well saved by the keeper.

Serious changes were made for the second half. Zazi, Kamal and Fizul were brought in to replace Mirul, Fadli and Wajdy. Najib and Azeq who earlier replaced Syam and Mamad were also in the second half line-up.

The boos started the second half brightly after Fizul dribbled past two defenders inside the box and aimed his shot towards the keeper's far right. Another solo goal from inside the box, could this be the on-loan midfielder's trademark goal? The ball met the gunners goal post for the second time after Pojan shot kissed the top of the crossbar. By now the boos were in control and was rewarded with a third. Fwat was fouled on the left wing and the resulting freekick by Mahmud flew towards Marul who headed it into the net. The keeper had no chance. The scoreline was now 4-3. Confidence was on a high and boo fc gave their all to find the equaliser. Boo FC's defence was very solid, credits to Najib. The search for the equaliser was in vain as AM gunners managed to run the time out.
